}} Boris Aleksandrovich Yakovlev ((ロシア語:Борис Александрович Яковлев); ; 16 July 1945 – 23 June 2014) was a Soviet Ukrainian race walker. ==Career== Yakovlev competed in both the 20 km walk and the 50 km walk. He represented the Soviet Union at 20 km in the European Athletics Championships of 1969, 1971 and 1978, always placing in the top eight with a best result of fourth place in 1978.
